Support George!!!House of Con-Men

GEORGE Galloway's expulsion from the House of Commons for having the temerity to criticise members of the Commons standards and privileges committee illustrates the depths to which the House has sunk.

Its members failed to halt the illegal drive to war led by war criminal former prime minister Tony Blair.

Download Video - Watch Video

They refused to order a public inquiry into the run-up to the invasion of Iraq, which could have laid bare the lies and concoctions of the war partyin its desperate efforts to win support for George W Bush's headlong campaign to effect regime change in Iraq.

And, finally, when the grinning warmonger finally called it a day, they rose as one to give him a standing ovation worthy of a national hero.  Tory committee chairman George Young ought to have blushed when he pontificated that the parliamentary debate was about "openness, it is about accountability, it is about integrity and also it is about our rules on advocacy."

He was backed up by Leader of the House Harriet Harman whose reference to standards expected of MPs sat uneasily alongside her inability to square her support for Jon Cruddas's comments that the Labour leadership should apologise for its pro-war record with her subsequent rejection, once elected as party deputy leader, of that position.

Do these people seriously imagine that the people of Britain will see their action as a noble reassertion of parliamentary standards rather than assimply the latest act of self-abasement before the false gods of militarism and imperial power?

What a pity that the Galloway show trial couldn't have been televised live on mainstream TV, as the US Senate hearing was, allowing the electorate to make its judgement.   Who would they believe - a consistent peace campaigner who has been vilified by squalid pro-war politicians and media or a po-faced group of self-important nonentities who have found another underhand way to do the Establishment's dirty work?

In acting as they did, the committee and the Speaker have demeaned themselves. They know that, as far as most people in this country and most of the world are concerned, the wrong man has been charged.   Bliar, who was eulogised and who left with sycophantic cheers in his ears ought to have been banged up at the war crimes tribunal in The Hague rather than having been offered a fresh opportunity to posture and preen as the "international community's" representative in the Middle East.

Having lectured those who resist the Western occupation and bleeding dry of their land about the need to forswear violence, he is off to Israel and Palestine to carry out a similarly shameful role.

The occupiers will be absolved of blame and the occupied will be ordered to raise their moral standing to a level that might help their case for justice to be considered by those who perpetrate mass murder and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people.

When histories are written of this period, those who marched, spoke and campaigned against the criminal conflagration that is the Iraq invasion and occupation will be able to hold their heads high. Those who hid behind loyalty to leaders and to parliamentary charades will merit nothing but contempt.

George,
Just a reminder that you are much loved world wide by those with integrity, dignity, good common sense and those whose values remain central to humanity. The net is closing closing on to the "war virgins" who took us to an illegal war that has brutally slaughtered innocent human beings.
History will always remember you for what you stand for rather than the treatment this insane government is subjecting you to. On the contrary, history will judge them for their compliance and the part they played in this illegal war and their insane manner that they have adopted as a parliament of a country like the UK.

Dear Mr Galloway
I am a british student and socialist in kuwait,
after the july war in lebanon, your speech on sky news became the most popular video on the internet here.
I have read your book recently and amazed that someone in britain in parliament of all places has so many views that run alongside mine.
Even if your support in Britain runs thin, you'll always have the support of us here and when i return to britain, you will have a new member of the respect party in manchester

Don't give up, find those others out there who can articulate the truth in the same manor as yourself. You have many supporters, but seek out the brave amongst the powerful, those who have both the morals and the defense of their wealth to protect themselves against the state. The sorry truth is that many know that what you say is true, but are tied by the capitalist rains of the society that the majority are so unfortunate to live in. I hope that history shows you to be the man that finally brought democracy to this country. Eric Hart

Although I can proclaim this statement only as a citizen of the friendly parliamentary democracy of Canada, I nonetheless state that I positively support MP George Galloway and his conscientious pacificist-work throughout the world - and full support even insofar as providing encouragement in opposition to all neocon or other such belligerent vilifiers. Thank you George, for your continued support of all humanity. Please ignore these hypocrites, they send other peoples sons to do their dirty work for them, while they pretend to be God fearing.

hi george, listen to your shows fri/sat night i just want to let you know that i support your veiws most ,(if not all the time!) like, your good self i too consider that most of the"front line" members of parliaments competancy is an utter disgrace, i do beleive that this country will be under threat for many, many, many years to come. due, to blair lying to the people, and taking this country into an unwinable war . george will you please do your best to keep DR DAVID KELLYS death in peoples minds ,please ask questions george. by the way george could you tell us anything about the "Bilderberg" group, thank you george, and may YOU go in peace. bernard crolla

Dear Mr. Galloway, I hear you on tv sometimes and Iam so sorry for what you are facing. I wish the Western World could understand what you are talking about before its too late... I just saw the Iraki death watch numbers and Iam so sad... when I survived Tall al-Zaatar 1976 I thougt that would be the end of evil, but it was the start... I want you to know that you are one of the most respected persons in the Arabic World... and for many people all over the world, even here in Sweden... every bodey respects you. Hope your countrymen realize that. All the best Rawia Morra

Dear Sirs, I want to congratulate Mr. George Galloway for standing against war and the current foreign policies of the UK. I’m from Argentina and I’ve been following Mr. Galloway through you tube videos and The Guardian articles. I have had serious discussions with English people in biased forums like Falklands-Malvinas forums, where it’s a shame how anybody who arguments in favor of the Argentine position over the Malvinas issue or as in my case, argues that Mrs. Thatcher was as fascist as Galtieri, and that colonialism in the end of the 20th century or in the 21st century is a shame, are asked to apologize or be banned from the forum! Regarding the Palestinian-Israeli issue, it is also terribly unfair to be called an anti-semite when someone feels and comprehends that the state of Israel is guilty of a terrible genocide and a disproportionate power. So, briefly I want to thank you Mr. Galloway for existing, as you are one of the few brave voices which stand up for truth in a country that paradoxically has become fascist. WE here in Argentina know a lot about terrorism of state. And it seems that the US are turning into that, and the UK in to a sort of "big brother" controlled society and puppet ally of that Nazi empire and Nazi Israel. God bless you Mr. Galloway. I’d be glad to do anything that I can humbly do for you from here. With all my support and sympathy for your cause, Guillermo Montagne. Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Dear Editor Please pass on this message of support to George Galloway from Melbourne Australia. Youtube has some great clips of George socking it to them. The response by Mr Galloway on Sky News after Israel's attack on Lebanon last year was wonderful. We don't have such a gutsy politician anywhere in Australia at the moment apart from a couple of Greens. Unfortunately our Australian two party system is just like Republicans and Democrats in the US. Both are pro-war, the Labour party here is all for attackintg Afghanistan and is totally pro Israel and won't allow any discussion of the Palestinians in party rooms. Good on you George, there are lots of us here supporting you here in Australia. George's You tube clips certainly teach us about world affairs as our press keeps a tight hold on information it feeds to the Antipodean public. If it wasn't for the internet we in Australia would know almost nothing about Mr Galloways work. Please visit us and give Australia the anti-war message, we really need it! Yours sincerely Sean Kenan

Asalam Alaikum Dear George,I am inspired of your courage & struggle, hats off to you . Many thanks for your decision to stand in the next general election. Although from Blackwood in S Wales you are an inspiration to me personally, i hope you successful and we can contiune to build a genuine alternative to new labour. with regards, Ian Thomas

George stand by your guns whatever may come. I am afraid that things will likely get worse but If you stay strong and remember always that there is a far higher power than any upon this earth, you will be able to meet those challenges. Those that speak the truth and therby threaten the status quo are always maligned you may have heard of a man called Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale a man who spoke the truth but was so maligned by the indian establishment that his memory in most minds is that which was invented rather than the reality. It does not matter however as he said "I do not fear my physical death that which I fear is the death of my conscience". So dont worry George there are non so blind as those that wil not see. On behalf of the Sikh community whose history is replete with those who would not accept tyranny, remain ever in high spirits and accept only the lord God as your judge. Sukhbir Singh

Don't stop george. At the moment your ARE democracy in the UK. If there was a RESPECT candidate here I'd vote for them. As there probably won't be, I'll probably not vote at all Good Luck simon prichard

George... Like going into the lion's den, your brave stance in the Commons showed us how a lone voice of reason can be so brutally stamped on. Well done for putting up with the abuse of those venomous people. Time will prove that you have the truth and are valiantly attempting to uphold our freedoms in that savage theatre of spineless men that is the House of Commons. Shame on them for doing this to one of the few noble men in politics. I wish you strength to endure under the intense pressure of the world on your shoulders.

Hi George, They poisoned Socrates didn't they. You must be doing something right or the bastards wouldn't feel so threatened by you. Don't lose your integrity. You articulate all of my concerns and I am grateful. All the best. It's great to see your support comes from around the globe. The cult of George is well underway.

George, Don't let those swines who represent the Ruling Class grind you down. The very fact they have done this shows what a fantastic job you are doing. I'm surprised they hadn't tried this earlier. All three parties have shown thier true colours on this issue, their opposition to true democracy. Keep up the fight comrade as all of fight on the street and in our workplaces for a better world. You have entered the book of history Unfortunately you are the only British politician who had the courage and character to stand against injustice in Palestine and Iraq, am saddened to say that the west is doomed because of all the injustices it has allowed, we all believe in God, and God said if you harm others you will get your punishment, British people by allowing this will pay the price, and your suspension is only a warning sign from God that people have to rise against this stealing of their voice

Evening George, As a fellow Dundonian, I am proud of you. How much longer can the elected elite treat the people who voted them in with such contempt? I have to say, I don't always agree with your views, however, I have always admired your honesty in presenting your views in a full and frank manner. Lochee Boy, keep it up. God Bless you George. Hail! Hail! George, The debate in the House was shocking, MP's are so out of touch with truth, openness, courage and commitment that it is frightening. I never thought I'd see the day when I wished for the return of Mr Cromwell and his 'rumping' of Parliament. This present lot of honourable members have no honour, they are a disgrace. The hobbits are waking up now and see those political orcs for what they are. Keep the heid George, you have many, many quiet supporters who will roar come the time

POEM
The backroom lights at no 10 were burning late at night
They planned and plotted storylines to justify a fight
The nation watched as in Iraq the lies and fabrications
Were sewn together prior to its illegal occupation
Whilst many fools were taken in by these dark contorted lies
The wiser and the prudent and those with open eyes
Did not believe the spin and drivel coming from the Blair
Despite his smile and his septic charm we knew he didn’t care
It took a while but before long the fools began to see
That oil and power - not human rights - is Blair’s ‘democracy’
The mask of justice, peace and rights was slipping like a sleigh
As the crimes of war and torture were increasing by the day
Amongst all this there were a few who stood against the tide
Who didn’t swallow all the crap and refused to take the side
Of Blair and Bush and all the rest who lied to make these wars
And loudest of them all of course was the MP known as ‘George’
So its no surprise they’re after George – it’s just what we’d expect
With fabrications, lies and smears – with anything but Respect!
Their latest smears will hurt them mate – it won’t do you no harm
Your being told to stand up straight by the Hunchback of Notre Dame!!!
KEEP IT UP BROTHERMAN!!!

Dear George

I know you are a brave and strong person, but no one likes to be
mistreated or shunned by even a few of his colleagues.  Take heart from all
of the public who see you as noble and heroic.  I don't for a moment
think that the Commons expulsion does your reputation any harm.  On the
contrary, it enhances your reputation as a fearless speaker of the truth.
The reputation of the commons that your expulsion was supposed to
protect has been degenerated further to many of the public.

Never give up,

Best wishes,

Hello Mr Galloway

I would just like to say after having watched you on tv over the last
few years and after watching around 20 of the videos posted on  U tube
concerning yourself that if half of peoplein power spoke with the same
commitment ,honesty and knowledge as you have done then what a different
world we would live in.

I would also like to appologise for the shocking narrow minded ignorant
behaviour of the deadbeats who attacked you at Glasgow Airport
recently. I would also like to assure you that not all Protestant rangers
supporters think this way. infact many support you but alas are to scared
to speak up.

Keep up the good work long may it continue.

Just a quick message to let you know that for every idiotic Zionist who tries to silence you there's 100 'normal' people who appluad you for having the courage and the determination to consistently try to stop the fallacious information they spread. There's not a political figure in world I admire more. You're a brilliant man, George. Stay strong.

Zara

George, your enemies simply do not know how to deal with you. If they were smart they would simply ignore you. It is disconcerting that they are so incompetant. Every attack on you is a marvelous boost to you and your reputation increases with an increasing audience. The Speaker realised to late that his little plan to gag you was backfiring and it was embarrasing to watch him sqirm. Their antics are an embarrassment to our parliament and sadly the reputation our country has for competence and intelligence.

James

I live in the US and listen to George Galloway's shows every week through the internet. He has many fans here in the States, and we fully support and admire him for all of his courage!

Just wanted to leave a message of support for GG in his battle against

the Mother of all Injustices. Our Parliament has long since passed the

stage where I have any faith in the "honour" of it's incumbents. As

such George you give me a problem. I left school in 1979 - The Year Of The

Witch - and despite not being in any way politically minded before

then, soon developed an openly hostile attitude towards all things Tory.

It wasn't until Blair took over that I decided ALL politicians are the

same. Corrupt to the core. Two faced, lying, self serving, money

grubbing, corrupt, thieving, scum. Therein lies my problem George. I cannot in

all conscience find you guilty of any of the above, try as I might.

For now I guess you'll have to be the exception which proves the rule.

nb

I rue the day that the Dumbarton labour Party members chose McFall over

yourself when they had that choice to make. They got it so wrong.

Well Geoorge...as you would say often on your brilliant show on

behind you!

GG, I have just watched the MOST disgraceful episode in the life of the H.o.P..... After many interruptions by the Speaker in defence of your good self in your right to question the integrity of your accusers (as is your right in law). I then found it repugnant in the extreme that the MAIN protagonist, one; "Sir?" George Young, waited until you had been unfairly dismissed from the house by the Speaker before unleasing his own 21 minute personal tyraid upon your own integrity without ANY INTERRUPTION at ALL by the "sheep" formerly known as "Mr Speaker! there was no; "You cannot question the Honourable members integrity in this house when he cannot DEFEND HIMSELF" then was there when it applied to you? (I fear George, that he is under threat of being buried up to the neck at low tide if he does not comply with his "masters" wishes). He is a frightened man. Of that there is no doubt. Chin up, Top Cat..... You may have been thrown out, but you DIDN'T loose.! A POX, PLAGUE and PESTILENCE upon ALL their currupt houses George..........until they cease to be: "self serving" and return to the virtues of "Public Service". Don't give up George!

Keith, Merseyside

Hi - I would just like to offer my support to Mr Galloway for the disgraceful way in which he has been treated. I watched the speach live and could not believe the way in which the Speaker manipulated the circumstances by using standard House rules in order to keep Mr G from speaking when in fact he was not breaking any of the rules. Although Gorgeous George made a few silly mistakes in his time, overall he is a very moral and decent politician and its scary to see how the US and the UK are turning into the scenario on V for Vendetta. All the best george. Keep fighting. C

Cristobal Castro

Hi, I've just watched George try to defend himself and expose the flaws in the report. I was appauled at the way he was constantley being unable to give his explanation and defend the acusations made against him.To say there is a conspirousey aganist George would be going a bit to far, but, but after seeing the VT of the attempt tp defend himself, I'm convinced that george is a very big itch that certain persons are determine to scratch. regards.

Gary Goodin

I just wanted to write and say how huge a follower and supporter I am of you Mr Galloway. You're a true hero and you were absolutely right, those cowards should have been making you a medal rather than expelling you from the House of Commons. It made me sick seeing and hearing how snotty your opponents were while you were merely trying to defend yourself. The whole thing was a farce and I admire how calm you remained whilst being constantly interrupted. Honourable men? What an absolute joke. Have you ever put your name into youtube? You should, and then check out the comments on each of your videos. It shows that people all around the world recognise you as a true legend. So say strong, keep fighting the good fight and never let the cowards and petty men break you down.

Even if I can't cast my voice at U.K level, you have all my support at global level. Dear George, I support your stand at all times and again and again you uncover all ugly acts and conspiracies by those who utterly have no political values, or rather no human values. Again, this is a very good opportunity to show the world how the current politics is so ugly. Dear Mr Galloway,
May I begin by expressing my deep regret at the Speaker of House of
Commons’ continuous interuption and eventual gagging of your speech. In
what is supposed to be the epicentre of British democracy, the pinacle of
debate, of discussion, of the exchange of views and free speech, you
were silenced and bullied and patronised throughout in our Parliament.
Since I first attended a speech you gave at Oxford town hall in the
run-up to the most recent war in Iraq, I have respected your stance on
many issues. I have admired your strength, your views and the way you have
expressed them. You have shown me and many others great leadership and
that we trully are not alone.
Taking caution not to sound patronising myself, I must say that
yesterday, for the first time, I felt pain for you on a personal level. You
have always displayed such grittiness in the face of the establishment of
haters, and yet I could see the hurt and frustration on your face as
you merely attemepted to defend yourself against character assassination
and suspension from Parliament, to which you have been voted in five
consecuitive elections.
I hope that you once again recall and draw strength from Charles James
Fox and other great Parliamentarians. You are in the greatest of
company – we need not wait for "history" to prove your actions just. All
thinking people know this already. Now and in the future you will be
acknowledged as a hero.
I am in the process of drafting a letter in your support to my MP, and
a letter of complaint to the Speaker. In the latter, I will be
requesting his rationale or justification for each of his interventions - for
on reviewing the speech it seems he is merely silencing you, rather than
applying the "rules" with his professed regret.
In particular, what was it that justified the Speaker in naming you? He
ordered you not to discuss Indite, then you said "we’re now getting to
the stage where you’re going to have to throw me out of Parliament
prematurely", then he named you! You hadn’t even mentioned the
organization again after his order!
With courage, you must go on, and run again at the next election. You
will have my support in campaigning if you are running again somewhere
in London - if you need it, and if I can be of assistance (even if it
means stuffing leaflets through post boxes).
Finally, is anyone organizing a demonstration to protest against your
suspension?
Yours sincerely,
Michael
Dear Mr Speaker
I am writing to register a complaint regarding your cowardly treatment
of the Member of Parliament for Bethnal Green and Bow, George Galloway
MP. Regardless of your insistence that you were merely "applying rules"
of the House, it seemed that time and again you intervened on matters
of personal taste.
Due to issues of time, I will be unable at this time to outline my
objections to each of your interventions in this letter. I intend, upon
further study of Mr Galloway’s speech, to question each of your
interventions, and to make a request for which "rules" you are applying at each
of them.
At this time I wish only to ask why you named George Galloway. Previous
to the naming, you intervened to order Mr Galloway to stop speraking
about the specifics of a politcal campaign that was lead by other
members. Following that order, Galloway proceeded to state "we’re now getting
to the stage where you’re going to have to throw me out of Parliament
prematurely", at which point you named Mr Galloway, before Mr Galloway
had even mentioned the political campaign in question. The least you
could have done is waited to see if Mr Galloway indeed broke your order.
What justified you naming Mr Galloway at this point?
In what is supposed to be the epicentre of British democracy, a beacon
of free speech, discussion and debate, you gagged and silenced one of
the few MPs left who actually stands for anything beyond furthering
their careers. You sold out your Labour roots, you sold out Parliamnet, you
sold out the name of Mr Speaker, you sold out free speech. You were
out of "ORDER".
Yours sincerely,
Michael

Giving my total support to the most honurable George Galloway. A man of integrity and trust . A true politician who ordinary people of Britain respect. This debacle in the House of Commons on Monday was a disgrace. An insult to George Galloway who was trying his bloody best to reply to the accusations from a committee of sycophants and weasles who are not true politicians but career mongers looking after their own self interests. George , for years you have been the only true inspiration and hope. If it wasn't for you where is the voice of truth and opposition. Keep the Faith.

I would just like to say that if there is one decent man on this planet

I am only recently disovering the crushing resistance awaiting any who dissent against the most dangerous criminals of all and want you to know what a powerful incentive to persevere it is, to witness your seemingly tireless struggle against the venality of established power. You are motivating a veritable army of support, whose passion weighs ten to one against the miserable greed of those who would silence you. This is the reward for your courage.

David Payne

This is just to show my support for GG, the best prime minister we never had (sorry Mr Benn!)

jason

George I always said your the only real man in the british house of commons, there cowards they will send there young soldiers to iraq just like they did to N Ireland, they werent wanted here eighter,George I was not one bit surprised they would not let you have your say last monday afternoon, George I herd you speek once when you were in Belfast for the festival I was hooked on your every word then years later I still am Mr Galloway keep up the good work I listen to you regulary on talk sport god be with you

G.Mccarthy

Reading through parts of George Galloway's speech in What a disgrace that a man who stood in the face of the properganda and

lies that was regurgatated before and after the invasion of Iraq now

has been thrown out of parliment and suspended for 18 days. In what

could only be seen as democracy under the Westminster system at its

absolute worst. The fact that the criminals who orcherstrated the

dispicable act of aggression against the people of Iraq and have been trying to

bring down and discredit anyone and everyone who stood up and oppossed

their madness. Now the man who told the world that what the

"coalition of the willing", were about to embark on would bring chaos and

untold suffering to the already suffering citizens of Iraq is punished,

while the real criminals evade being brought to justice and made

accountable for their actions in the absolute devastation of a functioning nation

state, in the death of hundreds of thousands, in the displacement of

millions and the sectarian cleansing of neighbourhoods by people who

before the "coalition" arrived didn't consider themselves long ethnic

lines but were instead nationalisic and were Iraqis before anything else

and as such intermarried and worked and lived side by side in relative

harmony. But alas not one of these architects of invasion and

occupation has been brought to account. It really is the most frustrating

thing to see such injustice in the world being committed by our "free" and

elected governmnts but instead of the true criminals being brought to

justice these arrogant, pompous fools relentlessly pursue and trump up

allegations which for solely political purposes. Hopefully the

revolution will come soon and the will of the people can once again take

control from the politicians that rule in countries like Australia, Great

Britain and the USA but to name a few, who are nothing more than

prostitutes of the almighty corporate dollar and rule and legislate in a

corresponding manner. Keep your chin up George and keep being the megephone

for the masses of people from around the world who support you and what

you stand for in your fight for justice and humanity over the greed

and criminality of the corporate and political elites that are in power.

Jamie, South Australia

George, it's an honour to be hated and feared so much by these war criminals and their toadies that they hound you and try to silence you at every turn. And it's an honour you didn't have to pay for either! Keep up the good work.

Lesley

Dear George, An Irish wit of the last century said that statesmen and politicians were two completely different breeds: statesmen are successful politicians who are dead. The band of hypocrites who surrounded you during the parliamentary debate of a few days ago prove the point well. George, you are an inspriration and a blessing to all those who thirst for truth and justice in a very demoralizing political landscape and you are a statesman that's alive and kicking. Keep doing what you do; do right and fear no man, for you have many friends. From your friends in Canada

Dear George, It is clear that the committee report and the commons rubber stamp, are a politically motivated witchhunt to silence you. The pro-war element were defeated by your libel action against the Telegraph, so they used parliament, where free speech and due process appear to have joined truth as casualties of war, to attack you. You spoke the truth about Iraq; Blair and the pro-war clique on the parliamentary committee, lied about it. I know you will continue to speak the truth outside parliament even as parliament has disgraced itself by excluding you.

Clifford

GEORGE DO NOT LET THE SIDEWINDERS GET TO YOU,GEORGE YOUR THE TRUTH.

Terence

George,

I've just watched you being stitched up by your peers. It's 1.20 am and

and been eager to watch this all day.

You are splendid and you make me proud to be Scottish. Keep up the good

work but remember it is better to force change from within.

But you must be doing something right if so many of those jackals

inside the house are so against you.

Steve Martin

They accuse you, falsely, of dishonourable conduct but when you turn the tables, they refuse to let you speak.

Alec

Dear George Galloway I watched your speech in Parliament last Monday with interest; you clearly highlighted the double standards with regards to manner in which you were treated by the standards and privileges committee. It was very clear that you were never going get an impartial hearing from the biased neo-conservative MP's involved in the aforementioned committee. The majority of the public are aware of the fact that the verdict was predictable, and that in there eyes you were always going to be found guilty of wrongdoing, irrespective of findings of this Mickey Mouse inquiry. I sincerely hope you to continue to expose the lies, double standards, hypocrisy that is so prevalent in British politics today. Although the puppets in the House of Commons may be against you, the vast majority of the informed British public is with you. Don’t let them get you down! Sincerely

Shafiq ul Islam East London

Welldone Galloway! The speaker was very interuptive and denied you an opportunity to defend yourself and eventually threw you out. These are kicks of a dieing horse! They are afraid to get exposed and tried to censor you as much as they could, never the less we the public, clearly understood that there was prejudice and completely comprehend that they are punishing your stance on Iraq, that is opposing the war.I shall be writing a letter to my MP in Manchester requesting him to complain against the treatment you received when defending yourself. Its shocking to see in Britain that one is not given an opportunity to defend themselves.Do we really have freedom of speech anymore? We love you Galloway! You are the braveheart of Politics!!!!

Ali Omar

I am furious at what happened in parliament on Tuesday 24 July, George. You were definitely gagged from telling the truth which only further perverts the course of "justice" in what has been a blood - bath and white - wash by the British Parliament over Iraq. I noted the speaker asked you to be well - tempered. Is it any coincidence that psychiatrists warn about the constantly well - tempered as being more usually the people to commit murder? On the situation in Iraq: Your anger is appropriate. The anger and unbridled rage of millions of the British public is appropriate The rage of millions and millions all over the world is appropriate. I have today written to the Speaker's secretary to protest at the untimely way in which you were expelled from parliament on Tuesday 24 July 2007 which denied the British Public the right to hear the factual details about the enquiry into the Mariam Appeal. There should be a petition on the Parliament Website for those objecting to your expulsion on 24 July and suspension for 18 days. How do I start this? Who do I get in touch with? Anyway, keep up the good work, George. you're a star. Give my love to Aotearoa (land of the long white cloud) and trust you will get a warm welcome in my homeland - God knows you deserve it! Solidarity Brother.

Glenda Rodgers x

George i have been listening to you on talk sport always. I didnt believe you at first , i wanted to believe the official line regards the impending invasion of iraq. Perhaps because i wanted to feel secure, and trust my government knowing that there was nothing i personally could do about it.But i too have studied the history of that region (the middle east), and i also was very pessimistic as to the motives of the campaign. To rid the world of saddam hussein. The british and american governments (the whole western world) have been supporting him for twenty + years . To rid him of his weapons of mass destruction, the same weapons which we have been supplying him for twenty + years. You demonstated, i didnt. You had the knowledge, i didnt. Now i do have the knowledge, having studied independently of the official media outlets. And to be fair george it wasnt to difficult , anyone can do this. I had the time and the inclination to, most sheeple dont. This is a war of power, profit , division . Designed to divide us rule us and conquer (the free spirit),and also to generate massive profit for a select few on a huge scale.Regardless of the human death toll, which is on a massive scale. Not reported in the official media. I will now be marching with you and millions of my fellow Britons.

Sean Charles Blake

George,
Let me be one of many who will happily stand up and declare, "I'M GEORGE
GALLOWAY!"

What transpired in parliament on Monday evening has, I would guess, done
more than the cash for honors debacle to motivate and politicise the
population. The country knows how disconnected from the real world our
representatives are, (mine's Mary Creagh, and no-one in Wakefield has ever
seen or heard from her. Probably a good thing reading her record in
parliament though), but Monday's shenanigans has helped reveal just how
childish, immature and blind to the outside world a group of drunken,
pot-bellied bores can actually be.

I was surprised to see Ian Paisley in attendance for the debate, and was
wondering whether he spoke for or against the motion. I'm torn between you
two either getting on very well, or being bullish adversaries, and, I would
have stayed tuned to hear him speak but ten minutes after you left it was
all I could do not to vomit.

Anyway George, I appreciate you will have a million and one more emails to
get through, and just wrote to give you some more support and hope you
realise that out of this disgrace has come an awakening for the better.

Keep well
SP

George Galloway is the most honest, dedicated and sincere politician sitting in the House of Commons at this time. His motivation in his efforts to see justice done is unquestionable. The integrity shown by him (and those of like mind), has caused much pain and anguish over the years, but George will not be bought by the "promise of greatness" to which many in the House have succumbed. History will show who told the truth about Iraq and the real reasons for the invasion, and history will show how hundreds of thousands of lives were lost needlessly at the behest of the megalomaniacs who pull the strings of Western governments. "Right is right" and the truth will, eventually, come out.

Brian Mc Guigan

George, I watched with bated breath at the live paliamentry broadcast

and, just could not believe the way in which you were being unjustly

treated by the Speaker and other dismal MP's!

It just seems to me that it was all a big set up to gag you.

Roland Stow

George Galloway is a formidable orator and he had most of the house

supporting him with their heads but not their hearts. He put his case in

his usaul straight no messing way.(well part of it)spoke brilliantly

and sorted the 'Pompous' git who kept going off on 'Manouvres'(Classic

one George). Do you know something George, when history comes to judge

you, you will be remembered for your courage, strength, and

indefatigability. Keep at em George - Britain needs you

Gerry Doherty

Dearest george,

to stand up in the face of overwhelming adversity for what you

believe is right speaks volumes about the kind of man you are. you can have

no higher accolade placed on you than you see injustice and you stand

up for those who have no voice and cannot be heard. what you did for

that young iraqi girl can never be tarnished by the murderers, war

criminals and people who just stood by said and did nothing who reside in the

non democratic cess pit they call parliament.

100% support for you - you are a great human being! god bless you!

Paul Madigan

Just remember George you did us all proud. Whatever they try to do to you we will always be behind you, and the more they try put you down, the stronger our support grows for you. I have one quote for the honourable gentlemen on the house: "Avoid the base hypocrisy of condemning in one man what you pass over in silence when committed by another." You never insulted them, you just told the truth, that insulted them Keep fighting the good fight. You are one in a trillion All the best,

Ashraf in Greenford

George Galloway is so intelligent,so eloquent and so right!Stick to your guns George and expose this current parliament for what it is!

Terry Wright

Dear Mister Galloway, I am a yank living in China for years now and,
stemming as I do as from the same ancestry as you, a note here of my
COMPLETE support. Training for many years in boxing also, I might share
with you the story of the greatest pugilist of all times, arguably, Jack
Johnson. Recall, Mister Galloway, the remarks of the great Jack Johnson,
in the bare knuckled gladiator battle in Cuba almost 1 century ago,
when - amongst the heat and swelter - a lady, pardon me, a woman jeered
at Jack Johnson in the ring with an attempted sneer, calling the great
warrior the "N" word. The emerging winner Jack Johnson looked for a
moment, startled, and then not losing his stride yelled back amongst the
drone, "You may be right, lady, but It's ME who' up here fightin' n' doin'
somethin' , what are YOU doin? " With his strength and those few mere
words Jack Johnson took down the crowd as well that day into
history.Well Mister Galloway, when I see the swamp you are singlehandedly
draining, I can but admire and send my full support here from the PRC - and if
I were but there I'd gie yae anither han'! Great work, Lad, thanks for
all yae do!

Stewart

Dear George - I know it's easy to say when I'm not the one fighting the
battles, but don't ever EVER give up - nil illegitimi carborundum!!!
I hope that one day enough people will wake up and see who really has
right on their side. You have my support 100%.

Sue J

Just watching videos of George Galloway and reading his speeches tonight has made me want to take up a career in politics in which I would say what I felt, unlike most politicians seem to do. Well done George for everything you've done and I wish you all the best in the future! George for PM!

Iain MacKinnon

"You can fool some people sometime, but you cant fool all the people

all the time" Bob Marley

These charlatans that claim to represent the people of our country have

treated the working classes as complete fools for too long. Now it is

even happening within paliament to their own MPs.

Enough is enough.

The shameful display from the house yesterday was nothing short of

disgraceful in this supposed democracy. The minority of the public, who

unfortunately, are the majority of the power-hoders are so blatant in

their corrupt behaviour now that we have a nation lost in disillusionment.

The behaviour yesterday was as a result of fear George as you well

know. The possibility of an MP stirring up the sleeping working classes is

terrifying to these fools.

Please stay strong George and remember the many important people that

support you.

God bless

Roddy

Just want to add my support to the most open and genuine MP this country has and to urge George to keep telling the truth. keep it up George.

Tony Frangou

Hi George I feel ashamed of our nation! How can our Parliament be reduced to a kangaroo court? How can the guilty flaunt the law, indeed laugh at the law, and yet the people who have been proved right time and time again be attacked and punished? Gregg Dyke Gavin Davis Andrew Gillian piers Morgan and your good self have been wronged, you guys were right, anyone can see that, now when will justice be done? Keep fighting George, this country needs you!

Andy, Salford

The truth always is a little hard to swallow George that is why they stopped your speech. double standards by double dealers once again. keep your chin up we are all behind you George. people like you are a rare find and the only hope the working class have.

Sandra, Liverpool

All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. I'm so shocked by the way our parliment works (sic) that I'm no longer willing to stand back and watch evil men do what they want while I sit back and do nothing.

Hugh

Huge message of support George from Serbia. I am 26 year old from

Serbia and have been following your struggle for world peace for about half

a year.

Yesterday I was watching live video from parliament via BBC website and

I couldn’t believe the injustice.

Can’t wait for your next program on Talk Sport radio and your comments

on situation.

Best regards and sorry for my bad English.

Dejan

George, I watched you in Parliament yesterday. I can only describe the

event as a scene from the outback with a bunch of scavanging hyenas.

You did your best George in a situation resembling the Spanish

Inquisition with both your hands tide behind your back and mouth gagged. I looked

helplessly in shock as they repeatedly stopped you in your tracks. You

should not have answered those heckling hyenas. A friend of mine who

was live in parliament said that "Mr Speaker" was given notes of paper

every second before he kept stopping you. It is a conspiracy! You didn't

have a chance in hell there yesterday, you were like a lamb to the

slaughter. After you were asked to leave the MP from Hendon was making

assumptions and interpretations of what you said which was accusatory and

dishonourable and yet he was not stopped by Mr Speaker.

Good luck George

Marisa xx

We Malaysians support you George. It's ashamed to know that the House of Commons has lost its real democratic role! Your temporary removal will definitely raise the volume of international voices in support of you. I think the whole world is in support of you, minus the governments of the United States of America, Israel and Great Britain. Let's hear from the rest of the world speaking your good name George and roar out aloud in support of you.

abubakr

I would like to express my support to Mr. Gallowy for his courage in defending for what he believes. He is a man of honour .God bless him

Hani

Since his opposition to the main stream media and politics, his enemies

tried tons of times to accuse him of bad doing where he always could

deny and prove otherwise. A lot of people with money and power against

him worked over years to trap him but his reputation never fell apart.

Do not worry George; the whole world is behind you supporting you...

Rahim

Serves you right Galloway - how dare you oppose War and infanticidal sanctions. How dare you oppose New Labour, how dare you expose the hypocrasy in the highest court in the land, (personally, I'd have jailed you for comparing yourself to Kirk Douglas.) It makes me angry that the debator after Galloway maintained that it was all about openess and accountability, when last month MPs voted to be excluded from the Freedom of Info. Act. Keep purring GG.

Mick

Great speech as usual George. That guy who kept sneaking up on you was

a bit creepy. Watch your back.

Best wishes

Eddie.

Personally I think it was an outrage that the double standards

commision, could rule that George Galloway of all people brought the parliament

into disrepute. He wasn't even given the opportunity to criticise the

conduct of members who weren't present; whilst it was fine for others

criticise him without his presence.

Also, I believe the speakers assertion, and the pre-mature naming of

Galloway further pacifies him from presenting his counter argument to the

public through the house of commons. As an Australian man, with a

great deal of interest in English politics, I find this quite disturbing.

Further, he was also hushed when trying to clarify his position on

bring individual members of parliament into disrepute. When criticising

them through their actions and double standards, and thus criticising

their rulings was prohibited by the speaker.

In any case, I'm making this message to show support for the Great

George Galloway. Who continually brings the parliament into REPUTE. And

further gives a glimpse of hope to the wider audiences and world on

British Politics.

Sam

From Canada. Just watched your great defence in the Commons. You got across your points brilliantly. Blair symbolizes to me the mindset of the majority of politicians for whom I have nothing but contempt. Keep fighting you have my total support.

Derek Randall

I am utterly outraged at the hypocrisy and double standards of the

British parliament in suspending the only honourable member of the house

left, Mr George Galloway. I watched with complete disgust as the speaker

of the house repeatedly interrupted and harassed Mr Galloway simply for

pointing out what is patently clear to everybody in this country with

a modicum of common sense. Namely, that the standards committee who

recommended his suspension was a politically motivated witch hunt made up

of several ardent adversaries of Mr Galloway.

I give Mr Galloway my full support for his brave and courageous

campaigning. Keep up the good work Top Cat!

Jamie

This message is written in support to MP George Galloway. Against the bias decision to suspend him for 18days. For not allowing him to defend himself in the house of common.

Kamel

George you are head and shoulders above them two faced liars i saw on tv yesterday in the commons please dont let them get to you all the best for the future.

Brian

I'm beginning to think David Icke may be right - this 'shower' of 'representatives' really do seem to be from another planet! They lie, cheat and cause hundreds of thousands of deaths and are exonerated by this ridiculous system which has the gall to persecute and hound someone who tried to stop them in their murderous crusade. Dear George, never give up.

Ann

George As a Tory I am not a natural ally of you, but the way you have been treated and free speech suppressed by the establishment is a disgrace to the democracy that the war criminals want to impose on the rest of the world. Please tell us all the real reason for the Iraq War - the world deserves to know that this war was not about oil, WMDs but the real reason was Israel - that is being kept secret from the British public - why???

Graeme Brown

Bravo George! Don't let those right dishonourable criminal bastards in parliament get you down. They are getting desperate because the ugly truth of their evil invasion of Iraq is catching up with them. The majority of the country is with you. Keep up the excellent work.

Sanjeev

Hi George, Just wanted to let you know that I support what ever you do
and say. I think you are a Good man and even better politician. Good
Luck George.

Darren Dadpour

Hi George, I listen to you every week on Talksport and wanted you to have my full support over the shocking events of yesterday. Keep yer chin up mate

Ross

Dear George, I stayed up until 1am this morning to watch the Commons deabte via the link from your website. You were superb as always. What surprised me most of all was the continued interruption by the speaker. It appeared to me that he had been briefed by his superiors to do so. Look forward to Talk Sport on Friday.

Abdul

George in his public pronouncements on the work of the S&PC has not
allowed himself to stoop to a personal slanging match between him and the
members of the Committee.  This is as much a reflection of the sound
moral ground that he has always occupied in our public life as it is to
do with being a Member of Parliament.

However, some facts need to be put before the public realm about the
intellectual and moral veracity of the the individual members of the
Commons Standards and Privileges Committee:

1)  of the 10 members, 6 enthusiasitically voted for the declaration of
war on Iraq in 2003 - (including the Chair of the Committee);

2) two of the the other members were ABSENT on this
crucial vote;

3) Nick Harvey and Elfyn Llwd are the only two members of this
Committee that took an anti-war stance as a matter of principle;

4) the majority of the S&PC are against any form of investigation into
the conduct of our government in the lead up to the war in Iraq - the
same members that so strongly supported the war now do not want to be
shown up for the opportunistic, intellectually feeble and  morally
bankrupt cretins that they really are.

I have no doubt that George is in possession of these facts, however, I
ask those that support him to start throwing some light on how
Committees are appointed and how the members are not divorced from the vested
interests of their Party.   The Parliamentary Committee structure is
not serving our people - THERE IS NO SCRUTINY OR ACCOUNTABILITY HERE!!

George needs to expose the ridiculous situation of Members of
Parliament sitting as judge and arbiter of their own standards - where else does
this happen!?  No wonder Parliamentary processes are being hijacked
for settling political vendettas rather than serving the interests of
open and accountable government.

A monument should be erected to Guy Fawkes in Parliament Square.  It
would be a fitting symbol of how the people of Britain feel about their
Parliament.

I will be happy to help any way I can.

Best wishes to George for today, (and all other days).

JAY DIN

Dear George,

Monday will be a pivotal day in Britain's history George.     A day on
which the public will find out whether Parliament, (a dying
institution which has been held in disrepute for decades)), is finally DEAD.

The ordinary man in the street should fear the result of the vote after
which even the statues in the House of Commons will turn their backs
on these weasels and the statues  will weep.

Whatever MP’s turn up for the debate should be told to ask themselves
"WHERE DO YOU STAND ON THE DAY PARLIAMENT DIED"!!
"WILL YOU THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE PEOPLE, PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT EVEN
REPRESENTATIVE,  BE SIGNING THE DEATH CERTIFICATE?"

We the ordinary men in the street will be on vigil to mourn its
passing.
We the ordinary people will note the assassins in the most public crime
ever committed.

Now is the moment George, this is the OPPORTUNITY.     They have
blundered on the battlefield, NOW IS THE TIME TO EXPOSE THEM and I will along
with millions across the world will be with you.

God WILL hold you in the palm of His hand..

Godfrey
High Wycombe

With you 100% George!!

Rosa!

We are not as stupid as they think.
Like the great man Bob Dylan says,

We see through their eyes and we see through their brain like we see
through the water that runs down our drains.

Keep telling the truth and good luck.

all the best for george hope he sets those lying plutocrats straight on
Monday!!

Goerge Galloway has supported the people of Iraq and fought for the
removal of sanctions against the Iraqi people.    It was his great effort
that world saw the defastating effects of the genocidal sanctions.   It
is all smokescreen and scapegoating that he received money from the
Mariam appeal fund.   It is an effort to silence all dissent from the
official line.

Leave George Galloway alone as he has done nothing wrong but spoke
about the establishment in the west

Hassan mohamed

George,

In 2003, Mr Bliar was rushed to hospital twice with heart palpitations
and chest pains.
Mr Bush, seems to have problems with his bowels, and he's leaving
Cheney in charge who's had his fair share of heart attacks and chest pains!

"The liar is warned of destructive punishment in this world, and
humiliating punishment in the Hereafter. These include:  Hypocrisy in the
heart. " (Hadith).

May God give you good health!

Hello,
This message is in support for George Galloway against the unjust
decision to suspend him from the House of Commons for 18 days. George is a
voice of truth that British parliament doesn’t want to hear. He
represents the people more than most of the other Mps do. I hope that this
decision will be reversed soon.

Regards,

Ahmed

In total support of you George. A witchhunt if ever there was one!! Am
  behind you 100 percent.
Please reconsider -  do not stand down as a member of parliament.
Keep up the good work.
With warmest wishes

Carla

george your a legend,

gary+kadija in Plymouth behind you 100%

Hi George,
I am watching you live in Parliament, and am disgusted that nearly all
the 'honourable gentlemen' have gone home! I am proud that you have the
intelligence to speak the speak and walk the walk. You say it as it is
and they ( all the losers in the house) dont have the balls to do it
how you do it.
The speaker who keeps trying to put a stop to your speech flow is
'Michael Martin the Mouse'. If only half the people in government had the
courage to speak the truth as you do we wouldnt be the mess we are. If
they expel you I am sure it will not deter you in any way from being the
honest and wonderful person you are.
Will be listening to you on Friday evening on Talk Sport. Go Geroge Go

I watched Parliament this afternoon,
and it proved to me what a farcical set up it is.

The party that now is in government is not and
never has been a Labour party, It was hi-jacked and the whole lot of
them should be charged with fraud. Clearly no regard for the truth,It is
run with no real integrity any more.

Many people support you George and you can take  heart from that and
continue to represent many people who are disenfranchised in many
dishonest ways by the   very people  they should be able to trust.

Regards,
Margaret Rowe.

Dear Sir,

I wish to register my support for the Bow and Bethnal Green MP.

I watched Mr Galloway give his speech to the house of commons this
evening and felt dissapointed that he was not allowed to develop his
argument.

The commitee has brought the house into disrepute. Mr Galloway is one
of the few MP's whose integrity is in my opinion, beyond question.

I was heartened by the fact that he has decided to stand for
re-election at the end of the current parliament.

Rebecca-Louise MacGregor

Hi George, Just wanted to let you know that I support what ever you do
and say. Ithink you are an amazing man. Good Luck George.

Just finshed watching George on parliament channel. It appears that
there has been a clear attempt to silence him. Every avenue of defence he
attempted to follow was shutdown by that prick michael martin. There is
no democracy in this country anymore as anyone who watched this farce
would have clearly seen.

But dont give up George
Erul

Just watched the debate. Speaker Martin was outrageous in his constant
stopping of Mr Galloway. It was definitely a "Christians to the lions
moment".

Hope the speech is in its entirety somewhere.

Good Luck George!

Mike Cooke

They spin, they deny, they lie, they profit and then say they "did not
know". This is by far the most sleaze ridden administration which has
done more to damage public trust in politics and the democratic system
than anything before. It's not apethy that people feel when they dont
vote it's a total lack of optimism, faith in the system, and those
standing to represent us. George Galloway, agree with his political stance or
not, is nothing short of a breath of fresh air in an otherwise bland
and shallow political landscape. He is a man of conviction and who talks
with passion not bland spin - they are scared of you George, fight it
all the way!!!

Iain Thompson

We love GG. Watched the shambles in parliament. What a farce. GG was
amazing, he exposed the two-faced brigands for what they are.

JAY JAY

Dear George,

You are truly remarkable. The parliament's decision to suspend you was
unjust and disgraceful. It seems like the house of commons is mostly
filled with weak men. I believe the whole story was fabricated against
you due to bi-elections and cover up other important issues. It is long
due that the British people reclaimed their political control by any
means and denounce the dirty politics which is being played both
geo-politically and on the domestic front.

From my understanding, the true government is about fairness and
justice and standing up for the truth. But instead, the modern politics has
lost its governance and credibility just like the corporate failures of
the early 2000 such as Enron and WorldCom - today's politicians are the
puppets which are dancing on other's tune. No wonder why politics is
such a switch off for many decent citizens- you can actually see that in
turn out during the election time.

George, you are one of the very few good men left in politics and I
hope the British public supports you. There is a desperate need to
radicalise current political system for the good of all people otherwise
people will have to suffer the consequences of the current senseless,
selfish and Hippocratic politicians.

I wish you all the strength and victory in all your endeavours and may
god bless you and shine some light towards your way.

Respectfully yours,

Mehul

Dear Mr Martin
After watching the debate on George Galloway MP suspension/expulsion
and your role in it, all I can say to you is that it was worthy of what
was going on in the 1930s early 1940s Reichstag. After watching what I
have watched today all I can say is we are no longer a democratic
nation. We are as a nation in very deep trouble thanks to people like you.

Yours sincerely

George Dutton.

Even people in Australia support you Mr Galloway!
